Getting Reviewed on Two Two Twenty Two

TWO, TWO, TWO THOUSAND TWENTY TWO… WHO ARE YOU?

I was at a Google Leadership Conference a few years ago and one of the activities was to reach out to 5 people for feedback. The exercise instructed us to pick 5 co-workers either present or past and ask them to describe our 3 best traits or qualities. What unfolded was so unexpected. I followed the instructions and sent an email to 5 people. My boss, 2 peers of mine and 2 direct reports. The responses have been saved and reread many times.

Without the assignment from the Google Leadership Conference, I wouldn’t have received these treasures.

So today, 2/2/22, I am giving you the gift I received, the prompt to reach out to 5 people for feedback. Tell them it is for your WINGS Coaching Leadership Course and ask them to identify your top 3 traits/strengths/talents.

Then save the responses and read them whenever you need a little GLITTER in your day to lift you up!
